Common questions about booking and attending your appointment
How far in advance should I book an appointment?
For popular specialists like cardiologists and neurosurgeons, we recommend booking 3-5 days in advance. General medicine and pediatric consultations are often available same-day or next-day. Emergency cases are seen immediately without appointments.
Can I cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Yes. You can cancel or reschedule your appointment online up to 24 hours before your scheduled time at no charge. For cancellations within 24 hours, we ask that you call us directly at +251115514141 as a courtesy to other patients who may need that slot.
Can I book an appointment on behalf of a family member?
Absolutely. When filling out the booking form, enter your family member's name and their phone number. Our team will confirm directly with the patient by SMS. You can also specify at check-in that the appointment is for a dependent.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Bring your national ID or passport, your insurance card if applicable, any prior medical records or test results you have, a list of current medications, and your reason for visit written down. Previous Bethzatha patients: your records are already in our system.
How much does a specialist consultation cost?
Consultation fees vary by specialty. General medicine consultations start at ETB 300. Cardiology, Neurosurgery, and specialist consultations range from ETB 380-600. All fees are displayed on the doctor profile before you book. Fees are payable at the time of consultation.
